Intellectual Property Rights

 

The name, logos, service marks, trademarks, designs, trade names, and trade dress (collectively, "Trademarks") of Core Velocity are the exclusive property of Core Velocity, whether registered or unregistered, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws in the UAE and other jurisdictions. These Trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not ours, nor in any manner that may cause confusion regarding our endorsement or affiliation with any third party.

 

Nothing in this Policy, on the Core Velocity Platform, or in content created by or for us shall be construed as granting you a license or right to use the Trademarks or any other intellectual property of Core Velocity without our express prior written consent.

 

Core Velocity Intellectual Property (Core Velocity IP)

 

We own the Core Velocity Platform, including all content, trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other intellectual property rights. This includes, but is not limited to, audio-visual content, images, illustrations, graphics, code, software, data, features, and information available through the Core Velocity Platform or the Products, as well as any proprietary rights associated with them (collectively, “Core Velocity IP”).

 

The Core Velocity Platform and Products are intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you have been explicitly granted authorization in writing by Core Velocity (as outlined in the "Authorized Use of Core Velocity Intellectual Property" section below).

 

Use of Third-Party Trademarks

 

Any trademarks, logos, or content appearing on the Core Velocity Platform or Products that are not owned by us are the trademarks of their respective owners. Our partners, service providers, or third parties may hold additional proprietary rights in the content they make available through the Core Velocity Platform. All rights not expressly granted in this Policy or in the Terms of Service are reserved.

 

As per the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning the Protection of Personal Data, we are committed to ensuring that the personal data we collect is processed in compliance with UAE data protection standards. This includes obtaining your consent where necessary, safeguarding your data through appropriate security measures, and providing you with rights to access, correct, and delete your data as stipulated under UAE law.

 

In line with UAE’s Intellectual Property Law, we ensure that all intellectual property rights are respected and protected, both for our own content and that of third parties. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Core Velocity IP is prohibited, and any infringement will be subject to applicable penalties under UAE law.

 

Authorized Use of Core Velocity Intellectual Property

 

You may only use Core Velocity’s intellectual property (including but not limited to Core Velocity IP, Trademarks, and content) for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless otherwise authorized in writing by Core Velocity. All rights not expressly granted in this Policy or our Terms of Service are reserved to Core Velocity. Unauthorized use of Core Velocity IP or any violation of this Policy may result in the termination of access to the Core Velocity Platform, legal action, and other remedies available under UAE and international law.

 

Authorized Use of Core Velocity Intellectual Property

 

Only Core Velocity and its authorized licensees have the right to use Core Velocity IP, Content, and Trademarks in any advertising, promotional, or marketing materials or for any commercial purposes, except with our prior express written consent. Any use approved by us is considered a "Permitted Use."

 

Unless explicitly authorized under a Permitted Use, you are prohibited from reproducing, using, copying, modifying, downloading, licensing, selling, transferring, deleting, reproducing, or creating derivative works of any Core Velocity IP. In all instances, including when a Permitted Use is authorized, Core Velocity retains full ownership of all Core Velocity IP, and nothing in this Policy grants a license, transfers ownership, or conveys any other rights to any other party regarding the Core Velocity IP.

 

Any Permitted Use must always adhere to the terms outlined in a written agreement between us and the licensee, and comply with the following requirements unless otherwise specified in writing:

 

1. The Core Velocity IP, Content, and/or Trademarks may not be modified or combined with other marks in any way, including but not limited to changes in color, ratio, audio, audiovisual, font, or any materials captured or contained therein.

2. Any and all attributions must be made as required by us.

3. The Core Velocity word mark must appear less prominently than the name of the licensee’s service or product.

4. The Permitted Use must present Core Velocity, the Core Velocity IP, Content, and our brand, products, and services in a favorable light, in line with the ethical standards and regulations set forth by UAE laws concerning intellectual property, advertising, and branding.

5. Any reference to Core Velocity, our Content, and/or our products or services must not imply endorsement or affiliation between Core Velocity and the licensee or their products and services. This ensures that Core Velocity is not inadvertently linked to any product or service without our explicit approval.

6. The Core Velocity name, including any abbreviations or variations of the name, may not be used in the licensee’s product or service name, domain names, or websites unless specifically authorized in writing by Core Velocity.

In addition to the above conditions, any use of Core Velocity IP must comply with the UAE Commercial Transactions Law and the UAE Intellectual Property Law. These laws govern the use of trademarks, patents, and copyrights in the UAE and protect the interests of intellectual property owners.

All commercial use of Core Velocity IP in advertising, marketing, or branding activities must also comply with UAE's Consumer Protection Law and UAE’s Advertising Regulations, ensuring that representations made in advertisements or marketing materials are accurate, non-deceptive, and do not infringe upon the rights of other parties.

Copyright Infringement

 

Core Velocity is committed to responding promptly to claims of copyright infringement on the Core Velocity Platform. If a claim is submitted to Core Velocity’s designated Copyright Agent (as detailed below), we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws, including the UAE's Copyright Law. This may include terminating access for repeat infringers of copyright-protected content and removing the allegedly infringing materials.

 

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated by Core Velocity or by a third party who has uploaded materials to our platform, you may submit a notification to the designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include the following information:

 

1. A detailed description of the work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed.

2. A clear description of where the material that you believe is infringing is located on the Core Velocity Platform.

3. An address, telephone number, and email address where Core Velocity can contact you. If the alleged infringer is not Core Velocity, provide an email address where the alleged infringing party may contact you.

4. A statement confirming that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner or other intellectual property rights holder, their agent, or by law.

5. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner, or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

6. Your electronic or physical signature.

Core Velocity may request additional information before removing any allegedly infringing material. If we remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content, we will notify the person responsible for posting such content. Counter-Notice

 

If you believe that material was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to Core Velocity. The counter-notice must include the following information:

 

1. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed.

2. A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.

3. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the UAE, or in the country where you are based, and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice of infringement.

4. Your electronic or physical signature.

 

If a valid counter-notice is received, Core Velocity may restore the material in question within a reasonable time unless we are notified that the party submitting the original complaint has filed a court action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18

 

While we welcome children under the age of 18 to use the Core Velocity Platform and Products with parental supervision, we do not allow anyone under the age of 16 to provide any Personal Information to us directly. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not use or provide any information to us through the Core Velocity Platform or Products, register for an account, or share any information about yourself with us.

DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
